About the opportunity:

They provide process, mechanical, civil structural and architectural, electrical, instrumentation, control and safety capabilities to support Sellafield Ltd.

You will be joining a large existing team that clearly understands the different requirements for optioneering, solution inspired, design decommissioning, operating plant asset care, infrastructure and new builds.
As a result of an increasing portfolio of projects, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in Warrington
Responsibilities:
- Delivering design work, inspections and construction site support on a major infrastructure project.
- Concept and Feasibility studies for multi discipline design projects.
- Analysis and Design using engineering software such as STAAD, Tekla and TEDDS as well as producing hand calculations.
- Preparation of Calculations, CDM activities, Basis of Design, Material Specifications, Scopes of Work, Technical reports, Inter discipline design coordination and supervision.
- Assisting and mentoring team members to promote their technical and professional development.
- A degree qualified (BEng or MEng), Civil / Structural Engineer
- Experience in the design of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork
- Knowledge of seismic design requirements for waste storage / processing plant
- Knowledge and use of BIM packages
- Experience in preparation of deliverables for early stage constructability assessments and HAZOPs
- Knowledge of structural aspects of underground/ above ground services diversions
