Our client is looking for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated Senior Engineer to join their team of Structural and Civil Engineering professionals in their Cardiff office.
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our team in Cardiff. We are well known locally for working on iconic projects in the region such as Pentre Awel, Swansea Arena, International Convention Centre Wales and the Newport Transporter Bridge.

In addition, our team are also working on a variety of schemes in the conservation and heritage sector including a world heritage site in Llanberis, as well as other exemplar schemes in the health, education and residential sectors.
As a senior engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead interesting projects with the guidance of experienced associates and have the chance to develop skills in project management and leadership, establish lasting customer relationships, and gain commercial awareness.

You will be experienced in leading and managing some projects; including developing design delivery programmes, and ensuring that these are adequately communicated to the team as part of a Project Briefing.
You will have an understanding of project finances and how to control WIP, debt and profitability.
Experienced supervising and mentoring engineers and technicians in the delivery of projects; and of providing wider technical support where required.
You will be a role model and mentor in the office and enjoy coaching others in the development of our design and project information.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Structural Engineer with over five years' experience, who is Chartered or near to becoming a Chartered Structural Engineer with experience of working on a mixed variety of developments with a number of materials.
