Senior Structural Inspections Engineer

We are looking for a Structural Inspection Engineer to join our friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team of property professionals to support the county council to ensure that buildings are safe to occupy and remain open to deliver essential services.

You will plan and manage the structural inspection programme across a range of public buildings throughout Hampshire, and some neighbouring locations. This will include undertaking Structural Inspections, advising clients on building related matters, providing inspection reports, auditing inspections undertaken on behalf of the county council, responding to faults and urgent situations and specifying work required for remedial solutions.

The work is varied as Hampshire County Council has an extensive portfolio of properties including libraries, museums, country parks, schools, care homes, offices, activity centres, farms and also supports external clients. The property portfolio ranges from new builds through to ancient scheduled monuments and listed buildings.
