Senior Structural Technician

Senior Structural Revit Technician - required for our client based in the Hemel Hempstead. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Structural Technician looking to work within an established, multi-disciplinary, consultancy. This highly reputable consultancy is renowned throughout the UK and offers fantastic training and support.

Senior Structural Technician Position Overview

• Assisting with the production of structural engineering drawing at all stages including concept, tender and construction
• Liaison with other professionals both within the office and members of the external design team and contractors
• Design of structures including large framed commercial, education and residential projects
• Ensuring incoming and outgoing drawings are stored in accordance with company control procedures and all drawings are presented in accordance with standard company practice
• Refurbishment of existing and listed buildings

Senior Structural Technician Position Requirements

• Exceptional working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
• At least 5 years' experience of technical drawing in a consultancy environment
• An ability to read and understand architectural drawings and create structural general arrangement drawings under the guidance of a Structural Engineer
• Experience in working with elements in steel, concrete, masonry and timber
• Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team
• The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a consultancy environment.
• Experince of design of structures, including large framed, commercial, education and residential projects.
• Highly motivated and committed to the delivery of successful projects for clients.
• Experience of Temporary works and basement design would also be advantageous
