The role holder will need to demonstrate successful procurement capabilities to deliver electro / mechanical assemblies at both a component and module level, which mitigate commercial risk and address lifecycle factors whilst fostering and maintaining supplier relationships.
- Lead the delivery of sub-contract management activities and other procurement related services which may be required by the IPT and its constituent projects
- Performance of complex assignments requiring cross functional collaboration without supervision
- Promotes customer intimacy in both internal and external relationships
- Focal point for Suppliers regarding contract and supply base matters across multiple products for Praetorian.
- Ability to balance priorities and manage time effectively
- Identify solutions for complex areas of potential risk /opportunity e.g. sub-contract risk, liability and exchange rate exposure etc. and deliver solutions/mitigations
- Promotes a culture of best practice and sharing of knowledge within the function and across the wider business
- Work with stakeholders, at all levels, in order to understand Customer requirements and critical success factors
- An understanding of legal aspects and an ability to negotiate bespoke terms and conditions
- Management of Export Compliance, restrictions and third party rights for all procured items
