Sellick Partnership are recruiting for a Senior Support Worker to work within a supported housing service in the Oswestry area. The Senior Support Worker will support the service with estate management, rent arrears, tenancy breaches and tenancy sign ups.
Key responsibilities of the Tenancy Support Officer:
- Supporting a service of 17 units providing temporary accommodation
- Carrying out viewings of accommodation with incoming resident to ensure the accommodation is suitable for their needs
- Processing sign ups, ensuring tenants understand their obligation in terms of tenancy sustainment
- Managing tenancy breaches in relation to rent arrears
- Completing risk assessments and housing benefit applications
- Carrying out weekly spot checks on properties
- Undertaking Health & Safety inspection
- Arranging any repairs and maintenance as necessary
Essential Criteria of the Tenancy Support Officer:
- Driving license and access to a car
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience working in housing
Desirable Criteria of the Tenancy Support Officer:
- Experience of using Open House System (desirable)
