We are seeking to recruit a Senior Support Worker for our busy service in Bury, with the right values and behaviours who is able to encourage and nurture a positive workplace culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of support. You will be rewarded with a competitive rate of pay between £12 and £12.60 per hour dependant upon qualification.

As a Senior Support Worker, in addition to delivering person-centred support that is focused on all aspects of the individual’s health, wellbeing, independence, and development, you will have line management responsibility for a small team of Support Workers, and will be required to write and review support plans and risk assessments.
You must be able to communicate well with others, work as part of a team, commit to developing your skills, and use your own initiative, bringing innovative ideas and opportunities, whilst contributing to the ongoing development of the service and our local communities.
Experience as a Senior Support Worker is desirable, but not essential as we pride ourselves on facilitating a bespoke learning and development programme that encourages career progression within our organisation and social care profession. You must have experience in a Support Worker role.
