• Help the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities – empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with amazing experiences.
• Get involved in the community, support during leisure and social activities, and celebrate special occasions.
• Lead the team to communicate appropriately, considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others, too.
• Engage in learning and development opportunities for the team ensuring that training compliance levels are met and maintained.

Your Service

Colne Bungalows in the Colne area, provides supported living services to people with learning disabilities and a range of complex needs across the North of England area. Supporting people who have a greater level of independence, individuals have their own tenancy and a separate support package which is provided by Consensus.

You will already have experience in the social care sector or NHS or may be looking for your next step (Mental Health Support Worker, Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant). As long as you come with a person-centred approach, a caring nature, and you are able to demonstrate a commitment to working as part of a team to support disabled and autistic people – then we’re here to provide you with the training and knowledge needed to succeed.
