Job Description: As a Senior/Support Worker for Children with Learning Disabilities, you will play a vital role in the well-being and development of our young people. Your duties will include:
One-on-One Support: Providing individualised care and support to children with learning disabilities.
Assistance with Daily Activities: Assisting children with daily tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and recreational activities.
Emotional Support: Offering empathy and a listening ear to help children build confidence and self-esteem.
Collaboration: Working closely with other staff members, therapists, and families to create a holistic support system.
Progress Tracking: Documenting and reporting on each child's progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children, especially those with learning disabilities.
Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team around the young people.
Level 3 for Senior applicants.
