This position will include the following responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of sustainable strategies and policies to reduce the environmental impact
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with local agencies, authorities, governing bodies, NGO’s
• Develop and implement an environmental roadmap, policies and procedures
• Monitor, identify and implement the contractors carbon emissions and energy use
• Work with the supply chain to ensure their commitment to sustainable practices
• Conduct regular audits ensuring best practice and identify areas for improvement
• Provide guidance and training on sustainable procurement

 Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in environmental science, sustainability or relatable
• Experience in sustainability management including carbon reduction
• Knowledge of renewable energy sources and low-carbon technologies
• Experience working with a main contractor or in a similar role
• Relevant driving licence
