Senior Tax Compliance Manager

Job Summary:

Our client, an independent, Leeds-based firm of chartered accountants, business advisors and tax specialists, are currently recruiting for a Senior Corporate Tax Compliance Manager to join their well-established CT team, due to the continued growth of their firm. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tax planning and compliance advice to clients on employment tax matters and other corporate tax issues to a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to relevant legislation and regulations

• Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact for tax-related queries

• Identify tax planning opportunities for clients and provide advice on the tax implications of business decisions

• Review and oversee the preparation of corporate tax returns and computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation

• Assist with tax audits and investigations, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders

• Support the development of junior staff through training and coaching

• Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and identify opportunities for clients to reduce their tax liabilities

• Work collaboratively with other teams within the firm to provide a holistic service to clients

• Participate in business development activities, identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow the firm's client base

Qualifications and Skills:

• ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent

• Previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy firm

• Strong technical knowledge of corporate Tax Compliance

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proactive and commercially minded

• Excellent attention to detail
