Senior Teaching and Learning Administrator

About us The Slade School of Fine Art is an art school where staff and students approach contemporary art practice, and the history and theories that inform it through experimentation, imagination and research-oriented practice. About the role The Senior Teaching and Learning Administrator will provide comprehensive and efficient teaching administration support for the Slade School of Fine Art educational activities. The post holder will be responsible for a set of specific programmes and will work as part of a small team providing mutual cover and support. The post holder reports to the Teaching and Learning Manager who has responsibility for workload allocation, training and development, and for ensuring service standards are met. The post holder works on their own initiative and uses their judgement in prioritising tasks whilst referring complex problems or issues of policy to the team manager and members of academic staff where appropriate. The role requires close and effective working with administrative colleagues, teaching leads and other academic staff in the School. The role is hybrid and during term-time requires on-campus working for four days a week. About you The successful candidate will have experience of administering numerous processes in the student lifecycle in higher education, for example, admissions, assessments, examinations and exam boards. They will also have experience of working with confidential information. The candidate will have good oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen and speak with clarity to all colleagues, staff, students and partners. They will have strong organisational skills and be able to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines of a busy and varied workload with high level of accuracy.
