Senior Technical Architect - Up To £59,000 - One Day A Week In Cardiff - 10 month FTC to Perm

Yolk Recruitment is working in partnership with DHCW to find them the best tech talent in the UK! We are currently working with them to recruit a Senior Technical Architect with a focus on Infrastructure and Cloud.

You will be working closely with multiple interdisciplinary teams, keeping a close eye on emerging technologies and best practices in order to support DHCW with technical design and assurance.

The Role

You will be using your domain expertise to deliver specialist technical knowledge to wide ranging staff whilst leading the technical design of NHS Wales systems and services.

  • Take on a leading role in turning business problems into technical design solutions, prioritising cost and carbon footprints
  • Leveraging new technologies and ideologies to improve new, old, developed and deployed services.
  • Creation of clear and detailed documentation to describe innovation and technical designs to others
  • Liaise with key stakeholders across the business to devise and implement change

Requirements

You will be an experienced technical infrastructure and/or cloud designer within larger scale organisations, able to deal effectively with complex data and situations.

  • You will have demonstrable experience of implementing large scale IT programmes
  • Proven experience of developing detailed yet concise technical documentation
  • Experience of managing teams of technical and non technical personnel
  • Exceptional cloud and/or infrastructure knowledge
  • Experience as a Senior Technical Architect
