SalaryRthirteen are pleased to be supporting a Norwich-based a building design and architectural firm in their search for an Architectural Technician. Within this role you will be responsible for overseeing architectural design solutions and services on projects, developing architectural projects and managing the end-to-end process.
This is a full time, permanent position working, Monday to Friday, and is offering a salary of GBP40,000 to GBP45,000.
The day to day
- Overseeing various projects that contribute to the business's overall growth and objectives.
- Working on technical drawings ensuring these meet specific requirements and are compliant with housing standards.
- Carrying out any relevant project administration, ensuring this is accurate and up to date.
- Use and management of Revit models and families.
- Ensuring all work is compliant with residential building construction, legislation and codes of practice.
- Communicating with internal and external teams in the furtherance of building projects.
You will have/be
- A background working as a similar role within residential design.
- HNC in Building Technology or Architectural Studies or similar equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of low energy design and eco-friendly architecture.
- Skilled in the use of Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup and Microsoft Excel/Word.
- Technical ability to run projects from planning to completion.
- Experience of production of working drawing packages unsupported
- Experience and knowledge of UK building regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and ability to prioritise workload effectively.
