SalarySenior Technical Engineer - Energy and Sustainability
We are working with a not-for-profit which works on ground-breaking ideas which help power and energy companies to transition to net-zero as well as improving efficiency and safety of existing energy and power networks. As a small but well-established company, they work with specialists and experts across the world to reduce CO2 emissions and strive for a cleaner, greener future.
You will be the go-to Technical Energy expert within the company and would be able to share industry experience and provide guidance to members of the team, as well as collaborating with external partners to enable innovation and positive change. You'll develop proposals and project plans for new technologies and keep up to date with potential markets and changes in the energy sector. This is a crucial role within the company and you'll play a large part in the future of the business; their work is challenging, worthwhile and important, so if you're ready to work somewhere which is making a positive global change then this might be the role for you.
Experience:
- At least 10 years' experience in a technical role within Energy / Power / Sustainability
- Understanding of areas of the business such as business planning and health and safety
- Experience collaborating with or working in an Operations team
- Experience managing projects
- Communication and presentation skills
- Stakeholder management
- Experience of mentoring or guiding juniors
- Background of engineering / technical work within the energy sector
