Senior Technical Support Engineer - UK

United Kingdom (Remote with up to 25% travel across the UK and Ireland)

£50-60k salary DOE + excellent benefits

We are partnered with a company at the forefront of minimising climate change with cutting-edge renewable energy and CO2 solutions. Their products enable CO2 recovery, extraction, and biogas upgrading into biomethane and CO2. Serving clients across agriculture, food & beverage, waste-to-energy, and industrial gases, they are globally renowned, operating across 150 countries.

Senior Technical Support Engineer

You will provide expert Technical Support to our global customer base, with the flexibility to work from home and travel as needed across the UK and Ireland.

As a Senior Engineer, you will:

  • Provide exceptional Technical Support to both internal and external customers.
  • Lead problem analysis and investigations, offering expert advice on complex issues.
  • Optimize product quality and support service visits to customers.
  • Maintain the information database.
  • Assist production with testing new installations in-house or on-site.
  • Participate in a 24/7 Technical Support service for customers.
  • Perform external maintenance, calibrations, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment, PLC, and standalone control systems.
  • Conduct remote and onsite plant audits of systems, offering Technical Support and consultation.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, sharing process technology insights across disciplines and contributing to the technical community.
  • Mentor and coach team members, driving continuous improvement through standard work, KPIs, and process enhancements.
  • Compile and deliver excellent technical reports for internal and external use.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by management.

Senior Technical Support EngineerRequirements:

  • Strong education in a related discipline such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 10-15 years of experience as a Service, Technical Support, or Commissioning/Startup Engineer.
  • Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)
  • Advanced technical knowledge of cooling technology, thermal processes, and PLC systems (ideally Siemens).
  • A flexible, results-oriented team player with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
