Location - Plymouth (hybrid 2 days onsite)
Salary - £47k - £52k basic + bonus, Life insurance and health insurance
I am working on a brand-new role released to us today exclusively for a Senior Test Engineer.

My client aren’t your average energy and sustainability company, they are innovators leading the digital transformation of energy management and automation across the globe within our homes and businesses.
Based out of their office in Plymouth as a Senior Test Engineer you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and testing their cutting-edge Green Tech & IoT products, leading to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future.
You will bring your experience and structured approach to Test design and processes to the table, ensuring their products are top-notch from end to end. As a Test strategy extraordinaire you will develop and implement test strategies, plans, and cases based on project requirements getting things done right the first time.
You will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of testing and diagnostic methodologies, all while mentoring, coaching, and supporting your team and coordinate like a boss when dealing with stakeholders to understand project objectives, as communication is key.
Skills bit
- You will have demonstratable experience with continuous integration, bug tracking and test management tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence and XRAY.
- 5+ years experience in software testing
- End to End product development-
- Technically component having worked with IoT or consumer electronics Test devices through standard interfaces like Zigbee, WI-FI and Bluetooth and.
- It is expected you will have am understanding of electronics and/ or microcontroller-based embedded systems.
