About the service: We are delighted to be recruiting for a passionate and experienced Senior Theatre Nurse/ODP to join our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their private hospital based on the outskirts of Kettering. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Theatre Nurse/ODP to work in a brand new day case unit boasting excellent facilities for their staff and patients. The role will be joining a friendly and experienced theatre team working in orthopaedic scrub. The day case facility provides 2 laminar flow theatres, endoscopy suite, an ambulatory service, static CT, MRI, X-ray and a range of other facilities. This is a great position for a Senior Theatre Nurse/ODP to be part of developing both orthopaedic and spinal service.
About the role:
You will be working as a Senior Theatre Nurse/ODP and will be responsible for:
- Providing person centred care to every patient
- Scrub for orthopaedic patients
- Work across a range of specialities including orthopaedics, hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligaments reconstruction
- Working well as part of a supportive team
- Enthusiastic and empathetic
Who we're looking for;
- Registered HCPC/NMC - this must not have any restrictions or conditions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- At least 2 years orthopaedic scrub experience in the UK
- Experience in orthopaedics, hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligaments reconstruction
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable
- Ability to work with other clinical departments as required
