Your Role:
As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the planning, development, and regeneration projects across Derby. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of dedicated planners and supporting their growth.
- Collaborating with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure projects align with Cardiff's strategic development goals.
- Preparing and submitting planning applications, while liaising with regulatory bodies.
- Evaluating and recommending solutions for complex planning and zoning challenges.
- Continuously researching and staying updated on local, regional, and national planning regulations and best practices.
Qualifications :
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Urban Planning or related field.
- Proven experience in town planning, with a track record of successful projects.
- A strong understanding of local planning policies, regulations, and the development landscape.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Membership in a recognised professional body (e.g., RTPI).
