A well-established and highly regarded Legal 500 firm in the city is looking for a an experienced Chartered Trade Mark Attorney to join their team.
The role offers an opportunity to undertake work for a diverse and interesting portfolio of clients operating in a broad range of sectors in the UK and internationally.

You will be experienced and comfortable in dealing with a full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious trade mark matters, including applications, oppositions, cancellations, invalidation actions.
Wider IP experience such as domain name disputes, infringement and enforcement actions, and copyright matters will be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will be a good communicator and negotiator, adept at advising clients at all levels of seniority, and will have the support of the firm's established network of like-minded trade mark agents in the EU and worldwide.
Experience of representing matters before the UKIPO and the Appointed Person is expected. Training junior lawyers and trainees in aspects of the work is expected.
The successful candidate will have the support of the litigation team and will work closely with the other members of the IP team, including a TM attorney partner, a full-time formalities administrator, and will have secretarial support.

Experience of working in a general law firm may be advantageous, but is certainly not essential.
Attendance at the office in London EC2 is expected, with reasonable flexibility for 'blended' working. Salary commensurate with skills and experience.
