Senior Transportation and Customs Manager
Location: Crick, Northamptonshire (Hybrid Working Model)
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + 15% Annual Performance Bonus

Our client - a leading name in the supply chain industry for technology products, is looking for a Senior Transportation and Customers Manager to join their team.
This key-role combines operational expertise in transport with comprehensive oversight of customs, particularly in the realm of exports.
The Role:
As our Senior Transport and Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all operations are not only efficient but also fully compliant with all regulatory requirements.
This position is ideally suited to a Supply Chain Director with a proven track record in transport operations and compliance oversight, looking to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic transport and compliance frameworks that align with organisational goals.
- Oversee all aspects of transport operations, ensuring they meet the highest standards of efficiency and safety.
- Lead compliance with export regulations, mitigating risks and ensuring seamless international operations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing best practices in transport and compliance.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are met and exceeded.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team, driving excellence and accountability within the department.

Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive operational knowledge in transport, with a particular focus on compliance and export regulations.
- University degree (ideally within business or logistics).
- Previous experience as a Supply Chain Director or in a similar senior role dealing with freight forwarding within an international environment.
- CPC Licence is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Someone who has experience in Inco terms or international trade.
- A strategic thinker, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
