The Royal Academy of Arts is currently looking to recruit a talented and ambitious Senior Trust and Foundations Manager. This position will be pivotal in working alongside senior stakeholders to raise funds from many of the RA's most significant supporters as well as make a tangible contribution to the RA's broader strategy by maximising income from trusts, foundations, and other grant-making bodies to support all aspects of the RA.
This role forms part of the Development Department and sits within the Major Gifts team, which are critical in the success and growth of the Royal Academy of Arts as a dynamic and independent institution. We rely on Development to secure significant gifts through an innovative approach to fundraising. Within the Department, the Major Gifts and Campaigns team is ambitious and highly successful.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have experience in fundraising or a high-net-worth sales capacity. With strong communication skills, you will be very comfortable initiating contact and fortifying relationships with supporters and prospects. You will be well-organised, ensuring strict deadlines are met and you plan effectively. Developing and strategising on grant proposals are an integral part of this role; therefore, you will need persuasive writing and reporting skills, as well as an excellent understanding of budgets. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the vision and values of the Royal Academy.
