AddressWe’re looking for an experienced Senior UI Artist to work closely with our clients’ Art Director and designers to help drive and define the visual style of the UI. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping seamless and user-friendly interfaces whilst crafting visually stunning elements, design screens and breathe life into games through captivating animations.
Requirements
• 5+ years experience in F2P mobile game development
• A portfolio/work samples of your professional experience that you can share
• Passionate about UI design and mobile games
• Exceptional graphic design and 2D art skills using Photoshop and Illustrator
• Excellent understand and use of typography, iconography, composition, colour theory and motion graphics
• Proven experience creating UI from concept to final in game implementation
• Strong understanding of UX design
• Animation skills (UI)
• Bonus skills if you have experience with 3D modelling
Responsibilities
• Work closely with the Art Director and UX design team to establish art style guides and UI direction
• Lead and contribute to the creation of visually captivating and functional UI designs, including menus, HUD elements, in-game displays and interactive components
• Ensure the UI aligns with the games artist direction
• Create interactive UI elements that respond to play actions to enhance their overall gameplay experience, including designing and implementing UI animations, button interactions and feedback systems
• Work with developers to ensure correct functionality, visual fidelity and implement the UI into game engines
This role is hybrid and based in London, UK.
Prior experience in these areas would be desirable but the studio really values talent and passion above all else!
