Role: Senior UX Designer

Location: Alcester, United Kingdom

Hybrid (2 days in office per week)

Salary: Up to GBP42,000 benefits

Applause IT is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our client, an innovative digital marketing agency, that drives growth for some of the biggest household names across the globe.

We're looking for someone who is innovative and has a pure passion for user-centered design and putting users at the heart of everything they do. This role will be an essential part of driving our client's projects from the ground up, by using customer research and business insights, you will develop bespoke solutions for an array of problems.

What you will be doing:

• Work autonomously and communicate effectively with Development, Creative, and Strategic teams to create customer experiences across diverse projects and platforms.
• Assisting with collaboratively gathering requirements with clients and team members
• Conduct user tests/research and facilitate UX workshops
• Develop and deliver presentations to external stakeholders and internal teams
• Illustrate design concepts through user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, etc.
• Use data to identify insights and design enhancements to existing products

Skills/experience:

• Proven experience as a User Experience designer with broad knowledge across design - Ideally you'll have at least 3 years experience!
• Impressive portfolio showcasing UX design work and process
• Expertise in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design
• Proficiency in reading and analyzing data for informed decision-making
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
• In-depth understanding of user-centered design, UX laws and principles, and design thinking
• Demonstrable history of working on projects from concept to high-fidelity designs, collaborating with developers
• Proficient in tools such as Miro, Figma, FigJam, and the Adobe Suite
