Senior Vehicle Technician required in Leamington Spa

• Starting salary up to £40,000 per annum pending experience / qualifications, plus additional bonus & overtime earned
• Working hours Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm 
• No weekends!
• Access to manufacturer accredited training/development

Our client, a multi-franchise approved car dealer group established across the West Midlands, are currently looking to recruit a senior level Vehicle Technician for one of their dealerships in Leamington Spa.
Reporting to the Workshop Controller and working with a team of 7+ technicians, as a Senior Vehicle Technician, you will act as our client's specialist in the repair, servicing and preparation of vehicles, whilst detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair ensuring all work is completed safely and to the customers’ complete satisfaction.
You will also help supervise the workshop in the Workshop Controller's absence and play a pivotal role in mentoring/developing other Vehicle Technicians in the workshop, particularly apprentices. You will be at the forefront of technical and diagnostic ability to spearhead technical excellence across our client's range of vehicles.
In order to be eligible you need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Leamington Spa and be a fully qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, as well additional manufacturer training recognition to a Senior / Diagnostic or Master Technician level.
Senior Technicians with other franchises with be fast tracked to Master Technician level with my client's franchise.
You will need to hold a UK driving license, be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for you team. Applicants with an active MOT Smart Card would be highly advantageous to our client but it is non-essential.
