Are you ready to take the next step in your warehouse career? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Warehouse Operative - Goods In. As part of our Warehouse/Distribution department, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods into our operations.

Responsibilities:

- Receive, sort, and accurately receipt all inbound goods.
- Handle various types of deliveries, including container, LCL, air, and courier shipments.
- Efficiently unload and sort container deliveries.
- Manage the booking-in process, including GRNs & NAV procedures.
- Pick and prepare materials according to packing lists from logistics.
- Liaise effectively with Merchandisers to coordinate operations smoothly.

Leadership Responsibilities:

- Provide guidance and oversight to team members regarding daily work schedules.
- Monitor and maintain productivity levels to meet expectations, offering support to the team as needed.
- Conduct training sessions and offer guidance to ensure consistent adherence to standards.
- Produce necessary documentation related to work processes.
- Exemplify safe and professional work practices as a role model.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the work area to optimise efficiency.
- Uphold high standards of health and safety and report any issues promptly

Skills/Experience/Qualities:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
- Ability to motivate and create a positive working environment.
- Strong numeracy skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with various stakeholders.
- Effective prioritisation and workload management abilities.
- Continuous improvement mindset to enhance processes and the work environment.
- Capacity to remain calm and efficient under pressure.

- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role, including lifting and prolonged standing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook & Excel.
