Responsibilities
• Own and lead areas of Water Resources management planning and drought planning• Develop supply and demand options• Investment decision-making modeling• Forecast future supplies and demand• Regulatory reporting and compliance• Integrated catchment planning• Environmental assessment of water sources• Development of Water Resources Management Plan and Drought Plan
Requirements
• Sound understanding of IT systems and software• Background in Water Resources planning or related technical areas• Degree in relevant environmental or engineering subject• Expertise in planning areas listed• Good attention to detail and organizational skills• Excellent communication skills• Methodical with strong problem-solving skills• Desirable: experience with Water Resources system models and hydraulic modeling tools• Desirable: programming experience with R or Python• Desirable: experience with Water Resource Management Plan process• Desirable: experience working in a regulatory environment
