Senior/Lead Web Developer Brighton / Hybrid Working Up to £60,000 excellent benefits Due to a sustained increase in work, this established business is seeking to recruit an experienced senior/lead developer, to oversee the day-day project work, working closely with the MD. You will need to possess a strong technical background, have excellent communication skills and be competent at leading a more junior member of the existing team. Essential technical experience required: PHP, Laravel and MySQL JavaScript (Vue), HTML5, CSS, SASS & Vanilla JS WordPress (writing themes and creating plugins) Configuring WebPack, Docker and Node API's (GraphQL, REST, SOAP) Version control workflows using GitHub Desirable technical experience required: Livewire/Alpinee.js Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) WooCommerce / Shopify CMS Platforms (Craft / October CMS) Practical experience of .Net / SQL Experience required: Ability to prioritise, assign and manage workloads effectively Review and monitor code quality Lead / mentor other developers Provide technical input as required Write clean, well documented and testable code Build high quality scaleable websites and web applications Work well under pressure and to deadlines Pro-active in identifying technical and delivery risks/issues Trouble shoot live systems Benefits: Up to £60,000 per annum base starting salary Bonus scheme 28 days holiday Flexible hybrid working Holiday accrual scheme Recruiters comments: "This is a superb business who are paving the way in building bespoke website and web applications and take pride in delivering exceptional work.
