Job Introduction

Total Wellbeing Luton is a service providing an innovative approach which aims to support both the emotional and physical health needs of people across Luton. The service brings together a range of evidence-based interventions aimed at addressing emotional health concerns early whilst encouraging and enabling the adoption of healthier lifestyles, including stopping smoking, weight management, increasing physically active and managing and reducing the impact of long-term conditions.

An opportunity has arisen to join our Total Wellbeing Luton Service as a Senior Wellbeing Co-Ordinator.

In this role you will have opportunity to make a real difference to people who have concerns about their physical and emotional health in areas such as smoking, weight management, suffering from a Long-Term Condition or experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of depression, anxiety and low mood.

             

Role Responsibility

You will require a keen eye for detail, be able understand data, be confident with data bases and Microsoft office, including excel and word. Key responsibilities will include:

  • supporting the Wellbeing Co-Ordinators with internal and external calls
  • ensuring the service is delivered within the agreed quality framework, and within agreed service level agreements
  • using and responding to data reports and analysing to improve service delivery
  • Internal communications
  • Access
  • Standardisation of Internal Pathways
  • Administration

Our services operate across a variety of days and hours to include Saturdays and evening work to support our clients when they need it the most. 

The Ideal Candidate

This role requires someone who is dynamic and passionate about promoting physical and emotional wellbeing, you will need a proactive approach in providing a first contact resolution to all enquiries, and in supporting clients through the referral process, ensuring clients can seamlessly access the appropriate services.   

The successful candidate will need experience of working within a demand led, fast-paced team environment and who has experience of coaching and encouraging others, and to provide service management support by deputising in the absence of a manager.
