Senior Wellbeing Worker

The role of the Senior Wellbeing Worker is to assist the Service Manager in the day-to-day co-ordination of the Carmarthenshire Carers Information Service, working flexibly to lead, support and assist the team in providing tailored advice, guidance, information, and support to carers across the region. The role will include engaging with the local communities across Carmarthenshire and working with local partners, commissioners and other stakeholders to ensure effective partnership working and service promotion.
The post-holder will work in a holistic, strength based, recovery focused way, fully engaging with the carer to identify what their needs are and what matters to them. Support provided will focus on promoting independence, building resilience, and promoting community engagement. The post-holder will help individuals recognise their achievements, skills and strengths, and use these to help them identify and work towards future goals.
The aim of this service is to achieve a holistic, innovative, and flexible service to support Carers across Carmarthenshire to improve and maintain their health, well-being, and independence, through social integration.
Person Specification:
Qualifications:
ILM Level 3 or A level 3 qualification (or higher) in a relatable subject (desirable)
Experience:
Must have experience of providing care and support services to carers/families in a community setting.
Experience of supporting individuals with a strength-based, recovery focused approach.
Experience of working in partnership with other organisations.
Experience of co-production and working with individuals to ensure they are involved in the planning and delivery of services.
Experience of working with and developing groups.
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential to be successful in this role.
