Job Title: Senior Will Writer - Private Client
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm with a one-hour break for lunch.
Location: Bexleyheath, with occasional travel to Dartford and Orpington offices

Duties:
- Receive and process client instructions for straightforward Wills, ensuring promptness and professionalism.
- Prepare, explain, and submit draft documents for approval, striving for same-day or 24-hour turnaround.
- Promptly present firm's account and ensure immediate settlement.
- Refer complex inquiries regarding trusts, Inheritance Tax (IHT) advice, etc., to senior members of the Private Client team.
- Provide advice on Lasting Powers of Attorney and facilitate preparation and registration post-signature.
- Conduct training and supervision for new Will Writers, offering support to the existing team.
Candidate Requirements:
- Pleasant and courteous demeanor.
- Efficient and cooperative attitude.
- Diligent and conscientious approach to work.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in PC literacy and accurate keyboard skills.
- Minimum 18 months experience in a busy Private Client department, with expertise in will drafting and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Proven track record of managing caseloads and meeting client and business expectations.
- Desired qualifications: Law degree/Legal Practice Course (LPC), though not essential.
- Must be able to travel between Bexleyheath, Dartford, and Orpington offices.
