Senior Workshop Machinist/Setter

Our client based in Addlestone, is a company developing and manufacturing specialist of calibration equipment established in 2004.

Job Description:

Senior Machinist/Setter to deliver production and development parts and manage the workshop & workflow.

Role Requirements:

• Setting up and running manual and CNC machines
• Tool setting and path generation directly on machine (G & conversational) & offline (HSMWorks)
• Ability to work with a variety of materials predominantly, stainless steel, non-ferrous & polymers
• Fluency with technical drawings, specifications and standards
• Delivery of high tolerances and surface finishes
• Routine machine lubrication and cleaning
• Tooling specification & order prep
• Jigging, tooling & work holding implementation
• Familiarity with hand tools & processes
• QC, inspection & documentation
• Manage workflow in conjunction with production & development team requirements
• Manage workshop operative/machine operator (currently 1 person)
• Manage & develop the workshop environment

Hours:

37.5 hrs/week. Flexitime between 06:00 & 17:00 over 5 days/week

20 days holiday + 3 days closure (Christmas period) + Bank Holidays (8/9) 31 days
