SalarySensory Lab Technician
Location: Near to Andover, Hampshire
Salary: Up to £27,500
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30-5:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake routine quality analysis of production, raw material, and miscellaneous samples.
- Train panellists to a high standard and investigate product quality sensory issues.
- Lead the daily sensory assessment panel for routine quality control and product development samples.
- Prepare samples for assessment and ensure they are representative for accurate testing.
- Collate sensory panel results for reporting and identify any issues.

- Excellent sensory capability and attention to detail.
- Experience in a quality testing lab.
- Understanding of statistical methods for result analysis.
- Knowledge of good lab practises and hygiene.
- Interest within the food and beverage industry and/or food science
What you'll need:
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis.
- Analytical thinking for practical problem-solving and achieving stretch targets.
- Creative problem solver and change champion.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
