Job description

About us

Koozai is an experienced, growth-focused digital marketing agency that’s trusted by hundreds of SMEs and large enterprises. We’ve been smashing our clients’ digital marketing KPIs since the early days of mainstream broadband.

We offer full-service, award-winning digital marketing, with a focus on SEO, Digital PR, Content Marketing, Paid Search, Paid Social, and WordPress Website Design & Development.

We understand that each organisation has different goals, competitors and challenges – so our approach to our clients’ digital marketing will always be personalised. We start by listening to what they want from their marketing, and then we’ll match their needs to the digital specialists in our team that are best suited to delivering those. We may have a wide breadth of specialist digital expertise, however, as a company, we’re still small enough to appreciate every client and take a fully tailored approach.

The team are all home workers as we offer a fully remote-working model and have done for almost a decade. Koozai is a privately owned, boutique, digital marketing agency that’s a really lovely place to work. Each member of the team is valued and trusted and support one another to achieve the best for our clients, each other and the agency.

Benefits:

Every Day’s A School Day: We’ll champion you not only to excel at your job but also to develop a tonne of skills along the way. That’s why you’ll get dedicated time for personal development, and we provide tickets to world-class industry conferences such as BrightonSEO to help you keep your knowledge fresh.

Your Work, Your Way: We offer fully remote working to all our employees so you can make the most of your personal life without having to travel to and from an office. We do host meet ups at our HQ in Lee-on-the-Solent so we all get to see each other once and a while to catch up. Our working hours are flexible so if you’ve got somewhere else to be before or after work, you just want a lie-in or fancy an earlier finish, you need to simply adjust your hours to suit. We also provide company laptops, additional monitors, and anything else you need to be comfortable working from home.

It’s Your Birthday – Have a Day Off: We love to celebrate each and every one of the Koozai family’s birthdays. That’s why, as well as your holiday allowance, you’ll also get your birthday off.

You’ll Be Well Looked After: At Koozai we offer our employees a competitive salary, pension, free eye tests and glasses allowance. As a company in general, we pride ourselves on having an approachable and friendly team that supports and elevates one another.

Become An Industry Voice: We’re keen for each employee to develop their name within the industry; we’ll provide you with time to write for the Koozai blog and if you want to speak at an industry event, we’ll support you to do just that.

In truth, the main benefit you’ll get is working within a fun-loving company brimming with intelligent and innovative digital marketers.

The Role:

This is a role best suited to someone passionate and ambitious with a high level of analytics and SEO experience. We’re looking for someone with excellent SEO ability but who is also excited to help achieve the department and agency growth plans.

To begin with you’ll be working alongside other channel experts and will be solely responsible for developing, executing, and implementing the SEO strategies and campaigns for our clients.

Alongside this you will also be expected to work with the MD to develop a strategy to grow the SEO department and bring in new business. This is an opportunity for someone who is self-driven and wants to create their own department and team.

We are looking for an experienced SEO Manager who has a proven track record of running SEO campaigns [ideally agency side] and who can clearly explain to the client the impact of the results and how they support the broader business goals.

As an SEO Manager, you will strive to understand your clients’ business and any challenges that they face and, based on this understanding, you will think of new ways to help them drive their business forwards. You will be expected to manage and implement SEO projects that exceed client expectations and deliver amazing results.

You will have the drive and inclination to remain at the forefront of digital marketing, ensuring best practice marketing techniques are at the heart of everything you do. We want every client to receive the best possible results that match their individual goals and objectives.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to take their career to the next level in a pleasant and genuinely caring digital marketing agency.

  • Growing the SEO department, maintaining our excellent levels of retention, networking and promoting the agency and our credentials to bring in new business to the channel.
  • Ensuring individual KPIs are met each month to aid career progression
  • Supporting the MD and other team members in new business pitches and identification of upsell and growth opportunities
  • Development of the SEO department client roster as well as recruitment of additionally required resources, training and on-going support
  • Following the processes and procedures of the agency

Required Experience and Skills:
