As part of this successful, global organisation, the European business now requires an experienced SEO Specialist, who will join the central team of digital experts and help the business evolve their websites and e-commerce platforms across the region.
There will be an element of agile / flexible working with this role.
The Role:
Working alongside functional teams including Analytics, Technology, UX, Content and Digital Marketing, the SEO Specialist role will report to the E-Business Manager for Europe.
As the SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- ongoing keyword research, optimisation and identification of new opportunities for both paid and organic search
- optimise website content, landing pages and paid search copy
- identifying technical site improvements, driving these with the technology and platforms team
- working with local teams to track and monitor the position for keywords, setting up relevant analytics and reporting
- research of paid ads and organic content for operators in the market sector
- providing support and training to build capability in the area of SEO
- seeking to improve processes and ways of working with cross functional teams
As the SEO Specialist, you will be expected to influence at all levels, throughout the region.
The Candidate:
Ideally of graduate standard, from within a commercial, marketing, or digital based discipline, candidates for the role of SEO Specialist will also be required to demonstrate that they have:
- practical work experience, specialising in optimising for organic and paid search, either from within an agency or in- house brand team
- previous experience on relevant search and analytics platforms such as Search Console, Google Ads, GA4, SEMRush, Screaming Frog etc.
- previous experience of working in website platforms and with technical product teams to drive improvements.
- previous experience of Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Commerce (Magento) would be advantageous
Candidates for the SEO Specialist role should also:
- have excellent communication skills and the ability to be flexible and creative in a challenging environment
- be able to demonstrate initiative and have a positive, professional, "can-do" attitude
- be able to work as part of a team or under their own initiative, demonstrating that they are an organised and capable individual, who is used to multi-tasking and can prioritise their workload in order to meet exacting deadlines
- have excellent organisational skills and the ability to quickly establish and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
European language skills would be a benefit but are not essential.
