Home-based (with travel across Fife)

Overview

Our Health and Community Services provide support to people across Great Britain who are isolated and lonely by helping them to reconnect with their communities and add value to their lives.

Our Community Services in Fife include the delivery of Day Centres and lunch and social clubs across the area.

We’re currently looking for a Service Co-ordinator to join our team for a fixed-term contract until 31st March 2024. The end date may change, subject to more funding. This is a part-time role, working 15 hours per week.

The Role

As a Service Co-ordinator, you will support the delivery of a programme of local activities to the support mental, physical and nutritional health of isolated people across Fife.

You will supervise and accurately record the day-to-day co-ordination of volunteers and stakeholders, ensuring we deliver a high-quality, person-centred service to our service users.

Playing a crucial role in building the team and creating positive relationships, you will recruit, train and support volunteers and develop strong relationships with external partners.

Additionally, you will support financial administration including recording, invoicing, banking and reporting, as well as ensuring service delivery standards such as H&S are followed.

Working Hours

This is a part-time role, working 15 hours per week.

What you’ll need

– Experience of working as or with volunteers
– Experience of maintaining confidentiality
– An understanding of providing a supportive person-centred service
– Knowledge of GDPR, safeguarding adults, professional boundaries and collaborative working
– The ability to care for, communicate with and get on with everyone
– Excellent communication ability at all levels
– Strong IT skills and the ability to use standard IT systems and role specific databases
– A full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Please note, this role will involve travel across the Fife area.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to have membership of the PVG Scheme.
