Role Overview: Our client, a reputable company based in Wolverhampton, is seeking a proactive and organised Scheduler/Planner to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in liaising with both customers and engineers to ensure efficient resolution of maintenance issues. This is an onsite role requiring effective communication skills and the ability to manage tasks from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and communicate effectively with engineers.
- Manage the maintenance process from start to finish, ensuring all parties are informed of progress.
- Monitor schedules and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or queries in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise scheduling processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance activities.
- Previous experience in a scheduling or planning role is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and engineers.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- Knowledge of maintenance or facility management processes is advantageous.
