Service Delivery Manager

Field Based, covering the UK, predominantly South East

Ideally you will live within 3 hours of Heathrow Airport

Are you a Service/Program Manager ready to drive Service and Maintenance projects at busy airports?

As a Service Delivery Manager here at Leidos, you'll manage customer relationships across our Airport and customer install base who are predominantly in the UK but also mainland Europe, reporting financial and technical performance of service accounts. The Service Programs Manager will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of Leidos solutions.

You’re a problem solver – busy airports don’t stop if the equipment goes down, you’ll need to find ways to work around a live environment and not disrupt the flow of passengers.

As the Service Delivery/Program Manager, you are responsible for;

  • Managing service customer accounts and support the delivery of first-class service while achieving results in the most efficient and cost effective way.

  • Establishing program goals and objectives.

  • Owning the customer account in tandem with the Field Service Management Team and ensure contractual obligations are met, monitoring the contract performance and taking corrective actions where necessary.

  • Managing CDR/Service providers along with standard account management tasks including securing monthly service data and performance data and ensuring performance SLAs are met.

  • Tracking all Service contracts validity dates to ensure contracts are renewed on time and avoid break in revenue recognition. Working with the Field Service Management Team on strategy and implementation to recapture expired contracts and former customers.

  • Providing input to service contract proposal preparation, statements of work and specifications. You’ll also track and prepare financial and operational reports for program performance.

About You

Ideally a degree in engineering, business administration or other related field, applications with equivalent experience will be considered.

Significant program management experience within a service and maintenance sector, ideally security/detection or airport equipment though general IT or Engineering service and maintenance will be considered.

Experience in aviation programs and contract management would be beneficial.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required with internal and external customers.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and customers is essential.

PMP Certification, Knowledge of MRP and/or ERP/CRM systems preferred. 

This is a field based role, so a full UK driving license is required.

You will need to be able to obtain and retain BPSS clearance.
