PWY YDYM NI

Chwaraeon Cymru yw’r sefydliad cenedlaethol sy’n gyfrifol am ddatblygu a hybu chwaraeon a gweithgarwch corfforol yng Nghymru. Ni yw prif gynghorwr Llywodraeth Cymru ar bob mater yn ymwneud â chwaraeon ac rydym yn gyfrifol am ddosbarthu cyllid y Loteri Genedlaethol. Ein nod ni yw nid yn unig gwella lefel y cymryd rhan mewn chwaraeon ar lawr gwlad, ond hefyd darparu i’n hathletwyr addawol y gefnogaeth ofynnol i gystadlu’n llwyddiannus ar lwyfan y byd.

Gan weithio ar y cyd ar draws Chwaraeon Cymru a gyda phartneriaid Chwaraeon Cymru, byddwch yn gyfrifol am arwain dull gwell o weithredu i Ddylunio a Datblygu Gwasanaethau, gan sicrhau bod egwyddorion Dylunio Gwasanaethau yn cael lle blaenllaw yn eich gwaith, a bod cymaint o gyfleoedd ag y bo modd ar gael i ymgorffori'r rhain.

Byddwch yn canolbwyntio ar feithrin gallu digidol, cael eich arwain gan ddefnyddwyr, a chefnogi Chwaraeon Cymru a’r sector yng Nghymru i ddatblygu’r gallu i wrthsefyll heriau’r dyfodol, gan sicrhau y gall chwaraeon ffynnu.

Byddwch yn chwarae rhan allweddol wrth gefnogi chwaraeon yng Nghymru i gydnabod heriau, cydweithio, moderneiddio gwasanaethau a chynllunio’n rhagweithiol ar gyfer y dyfodol.

Byddwch hefyd yn gyfrifol am sicrhau bod mecanwaith adolygu a gwerthuso gwasanaethau cadarn a hyblyg yn ei le ar gyfer ymyriadau cyflawni allweddol, sy’n canolbwyntio ar ddysgu ac yn cyd-fynd â strategaeth Chwaraeon Cymru a’r Weledigaeth ar gyfer Chwaraeon yng Nghymru.

GYDA PHWY FYDDWCH CHI’N GWEITHIO

Byddwch yn cysylltu’n fewnol, gyda staff Chwaraeon Cymru ac uwch arweinwyr; yn allanol gyda phartneriaid Chwaraeon Cymru a byddwch yn mynd ati’n rhagweithiol i greu a chynnal perthnasoedd cadarnhaol gyda rhanddeiliaid allanol newydd a all gyfrannu at y gwasanaethau sy’n cael eu darparu yn y sector chwaraeon.

Yn cael eich sbarduno gan ystod eang o wybodaeth, byddwch yn gyfrifol am chwilio am gyfleoedd i ddatblygu’r gwaith yn y maes hwn, gan oruchwylio prosiectau presennol a newydd, a byddwch hefyd yn rheoli perthnasoedd gyda rhanddeiliaid allanol sy'n cyfrannu at Ddylunio Gwasanaethau rhagorol. Byddwch yn sicrhau agwedd hyblyg at y gwaith hwn a byddwch yn arwain pobl o bob rhan o’r sefydliad i ddarparu gwasanaethau sy’n cyfateb i anghenion Chwaraeon Cymru, ac anghenion partneriaid Chwaraeon Cymru.

BETH FYDD ARNOCH EI ANGEN

Bydd arnoch angen profiad yn arwain ac yn cydlynu sawl prosiect cymhleth ar yr un pryd gan ddefnyddio technegau rheoli prosiect neu raglen.

Bydd arnoch angen gallu meithrin perthnasoedd dibynadwy, gyda’r gallu i arwain ac ysbrydoli eraill, gan ennill parch gan gydweithwyr a phartneriaid i ddylanwadu ar welliant parhaus a sbarduno newid.

Byddai gwybodaeth am y System Chwaraeon yng Nghymru a’r gallu i arwain dull cydlynol o ddatblygu gwasanaethau ar draws pob agwedd ar y system yn fanteisiol, er nad yw’n hanfodol.

Working Hours – 37 hours (consideration will be given to job sharing / reduced hours in line with our flexible working policy)

WHO WE ARE

Sport Wales is the national organisation responsible for developing and promoting sport and physical activity in Wales. We are the main adviser on sporting matters to the Welsh Government and are responsible for distributing National Lottery funds. We aim to not only improve the level of sports participation at grassroots level but also provide our aspiring athletes with the support required to compete successfully on the world stage. HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within the Sport Intelligence and Service Development Directorate.

Working collaboratively across Sport Wales and with Sport Wales partners, you will be responsible for leading an enhanced approach to Service Design and Development; ensuring Service Design principles are at the forefront of work, and that opportunities to embed these are maximized.

You will focus on building digital capacity, being user-led, and supporting Sport Wales and the sector in Wales to develop resilience to future challenges, ensuring sport can thrive.

You will play a key role in supporting sport in Wales to recognise challenges, work together, modernise services and proactively plan for the future.

You will also be responsible for ensuring a robust and agile service review and evaluation mechanism is in place for key delivery interventions, focused on learning, aligned to the Sport Wales strategy and Vision for Sport in Wales.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will liaise internally, with Sport Wales staff and senior leadership; externally, with Sport Wales partners, and will proactively build and maintain positive relationships with new external stakeholders who can contribute to the services provided within the sport sector.

Driven by a wide range of insight, you will be responsible for seeking out opportunities to grow work in this area, overseeing existing and new projects, and will also manage relationships with external stakeholders which contribute to excellent Service Design. You’ll ensure an agile approach to this work and will lead people from across the organisation to deliver services that match Sport Wales’s needs, and the needs of Sport Wales partners.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You will need experience leading and coordinating several complex projects at the same time, using project or programme management techniques.

You will need to be able to build trusting relationships, with the ability to lead and inspire others, earning respect from colleagues and partners to influence continuous improvement and drive change.

Knowledge of the Sport System in Wales and the ability to lead a coordinated approach to service development across all aspects of the system would be advantageous, although is not essential.
