Job description

The focus of the Service Desk Support Analyst role is to provide proactive technical support to customers using a range of contact methods including telephone, email, personal callers and online resources. The customer user base includes University of Liverpool staff, students (including online) and associates based on and off campus. Support is provided by the Service Desk Monday-Friday 8.00am ¿ 5.00pm excluding bank holidays and University closure days. A third party provides out of hours support 365 days a year.
You will be a point of contact for all IT related queries ensuring the Department presents a professional, positive image to users at all times and provide support and guidance to Service Desk colleagues. You should have 3 GCSE¿s at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language.
The University has the right to close the vacancy early if it is deemed that there have been enough applications received.
