Responsibilities: As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of infrastructure.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
1 Technical Support:
* Provide expert-level support to customers and internal teams.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SIP, IP, networking, and VLANs.
* Analyse and diagnose complex problems, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
* Network Management:
* Manage and maintain telecommunications networks.
* Monitor network performance, ensuring optimal functionality.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network improvements.
* Documentation:
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.
* Develop knowledge base articles for common issues to facilitate faster problem resolution.
* Customer Communication:
* Communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Provide regular updates to clients on the status of ongoing issues and resolutions.
* Collaboration:
* Collaborate with 1st Line Support, Network Engineers, and other teams to address escalated issues.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive working environment.
