About the role
This new post will deliver ambitious leadership of business development and partnerships for Avalon and will be a key member of our senior leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. Straddling both strategic and operational remits, it will drive significant increases in the number of people accessing our services and the speed with which we respond to their needs. The position plays an essential part in Avalon’s ambitious 5 year plan and will successfully deliver significant growth as well as raising the profile of the charity across the region.
About you
You will be driven to excel and be passionate about expanding high quality service delivery across social care. You will bring pace, strong networking skills and an ability to influence at senior levels. You will demonstrate persuasive, compelling communications with strong written skills. You will be used to working to tight deadlines and have strong attention to detail where required.
You will know and understand the commissioning landscape as well as the needs and challenges of key stakeholder groups including people who use services. You will be confident in developing and delivering sector-specific account management strategies, marketing campaigns and lead-generation activities.
You will have a proven track record of success in a similar role within the health and social care sector, having worked in senior operational and/or business development role/s.
Your base is negotiable for the right candidate but will include time at our Head Office in Harrogate and within locality offices as required. Appointment will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Certificate.
