Service Engineer

Marine Resources are currently recruiting for a Marine Service Engineer for my client based in Southampton.
My client specialise in the design, manufacture, and supply of high-quality industrial products and solutions tailored to the needs of various sectors including marine, industrial, and aerospace. Established with a commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability, my client leverages advanced engineering and manufacturing techniques to offer a wide range of products including couplings, dampers, and drive technology.
An an exciting opportunity has arisen to join their marine department, working as a field Service Engineering covering their well established clients, mainly in Southampton and Portsmouth (although there may be some circumstances where further travel is required).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of marine products, in particular couplings, dampers and drive technology
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
-Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized solutions for unique marine applications.
- Deliver training to customers and distributors on the proper use and maintenance of products.
- Conduct technical evaluations of product performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of all service activities.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in marine engineering.
