Service Engineer (Plumber)

My client is recruiting for a Service Engineer (Plumber). They are a well-established and leading supplier of rain water recycling systems, installed in residential, industrial and commercial building developments as well as airports and stadiums. Their ideal candidate will have a CSCS / JIB Gold Plumber card, with proven field service supervisor on pumping systems, cooling systems, or other similar technologies working in a construction environment.

Service Engineer (Plumber) Role

The successful Service Engineer will be a self-motivated, team leader orientated engineer. Specific training on site for the products / systems, is provided.
You will be responsible for:

-              Site surveys
-              System installations
-              Commissioning
-              Planned maintenance
-              Reactive maintenance
-              Fault finding
-              After sales
-              Product test and repair
-              Travelling with overnight stays
-              On call Rota
-              Occasional office work

Service Engineer (Plumber) Requirements

Essential qualifications and experience needed:

-              Proven work experience as field service supervisor for pumping systems, cooling systems, or other similar technologies working in a construction environment
-              Adequate professional qualifications as mechanical engineer, plumber, electrician, control specialist (JIB Gold Plumber)
-              Team Leader with excellent working standards who can also work on his own
-              High level of motivation and interest in self-progress
-              Experience in providing services to the building industry with high confidence and excellent customer relationship skills
-              General computer knowledge (MS office) and communication skills. Must be able to read 2D and 3D drawings
-              Experience in rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling systems is advantageous, but not necessary
-              Full valid manual driving licence

Senior Engineer (Plumber) Package:

Salary circa £50k
You will be required to work a 39-hour week, a pension will be provided after a qualifying period.
22 days holiday per year + Bank Holidays (3 days to be taken at Xmas).
Company mobile and travel expenses will be paid (Company vehicle supplied depending on location).
On call after training on a monthly rota.
