Your New Role
Join our dynamic team at Survitec Group, a leading provider in safety and survival equipment. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Survival Suit Technician. If you are detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and are passionate about ensuring safety in critical environments, we want to hear from you.
What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
Air Test and Laundry:
- Book all company/customer owned assets into CSAM upon arrival.
- Ensure correct routing of assets through the service facility.
- Strip, wash, and dry assets as required.
- Conduct air tests on survival suits to detect and rectify any leaks.
Major/Minor Repairs:
- Carry out patching on suits when required.
- Prepare survival suits for major repairs.
- Perform gluing of suit components.
Visual and Final Inspection:
- Conduct visual and final inspections of suits.
- Ensure accurate completion of service inspection cards.
- Prepare stock requirements for remote sites.
- Update the company computer system with necessary information daily.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Survitec standards, completing work accurately the first time.
- Assist in maintaining company assets through standard preparation, inspection, or maintenance tasks.
- Follow mandatory work instructions, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Contribute to creating an inclusive and safety-first culture within Survitec.
- Participate in professional development activities and training.
The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
Essential Criteria:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting schedules.
- Good English communication skills.
