Servicing Account Executive 

Salary up to £60,000

Northampton with  Hybrid Working


THE OPPORTUNITY:

A Commercial Insurance Broker who is looking to recruit an Account Executive to take over an existing book of business and Service it.  You will be given a book of commercial insurance business to service and grow.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Account Executive will be responsible for an existing book of business consisting of commercial insurance classes and to grow this over time. 
  • Obtain renewal terms for customers and identify potential alternative quotations before presenting to the customer
  • Work closely with Commercial Account Handlers to discuss broking strategy. 
  • Be able to close the deal and sign the prospect as a new client
  • Continue to build long-lasting, highly credible relationships with all clients.
  • Be motivated to develop new business opportunities by networking and growing your portfolio, whilst still maintaining exceptional standards of relationship management with your existing clients


PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • You will be an existing Account Executive with Client facing experience or a Senior Commercial Account Handler or Broker looking to move into a full time Client facing role.
  • You will have experience in Commercial Combined policies, Liability/Casualty risks and Motor risks.
  • To have strong influencing, negotiating, problem solving and analytical skills
  • New Business skills and a detailed knowledge of the core range of products & services
  • Sales and service process knowledge, particularly sales through service
  • Face to Face relationship building is key as you will be dealing with longstanding clients.
  • To keep up to date with insurance industry developments and regulatory changes
