Job description

Loughborough College Elite Sport is a highly successful department with over 2,000 learners. The department offers a wide range of provision up to L3 qualifications, working nationally with a broad range of funded programmes that includes study programmes, apprenticeships, international, adult programmes and the Diploma in Sporting Excellence.
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to teach predominantly, on our Coaches in Schools apprenticeship programme, helping to develop the next generation of sports coaches and PE teachers. In addition, the successful candidate will teach across other Elite Sport programmes, where required.
The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed. Progress will be monitored to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and you must have extensive teaching and vocational experience in further education.
You will possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively with a range of partners. You will possess excellent planning and administration skills and be able to work to deadlines. A knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies is essential.
