About the Role

We are welcoming applications from qualified tutors join our counselling tutor team. We deliver a range of CPCAB accredited courses up to Level 4 and welcome applications from experienced tutors and those beginning their teaching career.

Candidate Profile

In addition to the criteria listed on the Job Description, the successful candidate must also meet the following requirements to support delivery of CPCAB qualifications up to Level 3:  
  
• 420 hours therapeutic counselling qualification at level 4 or above e.g., TCL4 


• Engage in 10 hours of personal therapy 


• Member of a professional association for counselling or psychotherapy 


• 30 hours per year CPD activities 

• Current supervised counselling practice with a minimum of 6 months post-qualifying practice experience 


• Supervision qualification or experience of supervising groups or individuals in a counselling setting 


• Teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one (minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training) 


• A minimum of 6 months’ experience of teaching and assessing at level 2 or above.
