Job description

Hours: 36.5 per week Pay: Grade FA6 / spinal point 27/ £19.69 per hour including holiday pay Contract type: Sessional tutor, temporary Contract duration: start as soon as possible – 28/06/2024 Closing Date: 21st January 2024 Interview Date: TBC  The purpose of this Sessional Tutor role is to undertake high quality teaching in Economics within Warwick Foundation Studies (WFS) and convene designated modules enhancing the reputation of teaching and learning at WFS.   The successful applicant will have a track record of delivering and embedding high quality, innovative teaching and learning at level 3 and /or 4 ideally in a HE context. They will be expected to teach primarily on the University of Warwick’s International Foundation Programme in Economics and will ideally have experience of teaching international students or be able to demonstrate an approach to doing so. For the academic year 2023/24 the modules taught will include one or more of the following: The Global Economy, Microeconomics and Economics. Further teaching opportunities on new programmes of study within the department may also be included as the department grows its provision.
