The Opportunity:

As a Freelance Setting Out Engineer, you will play a vital role in Setting Out and overseeing groundworks and related Infrastructure projects, ensuring that all works are completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is your chance to make a lasting impression while working with a leading name in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set out, level, and survey the site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and design requirements for Groundworks and Civil Infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of the project.
• Maintain accurate site records, including as-built drawings and survey data.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness on site.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Setting Out Engineer on Groundworks projects.
• Proficient in the use of surveying equipment and software.
• Supply of Setting Out Instrument, Leica/Trimble etc.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field.
